Introduction
Just as the roots are the foundation of a healthy tree, so is our relationship the foundation of our work together; it is essential to successful planning and implementation. Design
The trunk represents this second step as it is the piece that supports the tree itself. You cannot have a tree without a trunk; so you cannot have long-term success with your finances without a purposeful and well-designed plan.
Implementation
The leaves of the tree represent this third step. It’s the leaves of the tree that exhibit such beauty and incite awe in the eye of the beholder. The leaves also provide shade and respite from the heat. These leaves (your financial plan implemented) provide rest and relief when you need it the most.
Communication
The river represents this final step. This is the constant flow of back and forth interaction that continues to provide life to the roots and keeps the tree (the plan, plan implementation, and relationship) healthy.
